Managing your professions equally

Do you ever see yourself concentrating too much time onto one profession and not getting the desired amount of gold back, or a mailbox full of expired? I do. All the time. Why? There is a limit to how much gold you can potentially make from one profession in a certain amount of time at that certain time of the day.

The trick is finding out what that limit is. For me it was a matter of trial and error and knowledge of the market; some items sell faster then others and in different quantities. e.g. Volatiles fly right off the shelves on my server, but flasks not so much. From this I understand how much gold I can make from Alchemy, my main profession.

My other main gold making profession is Jewelcrafting, recently there has been a crash in the ore market on my server where farmers are dumping stacks of elementium ore at 20g a stack. With on average 1 rare gem a stack, I can cut it(even if it's an Amberjewel), get my money back & use the green uncuts for the JC daily and any other green uncuts left can be mailed to my Alchemist to transmute into shadowspirits or Inferno's! This transmute ultimately raises the max gold profit from each profession by combining the two together. Last night I made 3,000 gold from this simple shuffle alone, and that's relatively good for me.

Other plans to manage professions better
Ultimately my next goal is to get a maxed enchanter & blacksmith so I can DE any jewelry for more gold. See the trend? Each profession has a max profit you can make in an allotted time, combine them together and you can raise is tenfold!

Thanks for reading todays post.
